chicharrón chocolate chip cookies

Pork Rind Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Pepe’s El Original Chicharrones, crushed

  • 2 1/4 cup All-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp. Baking soda

  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. Salt

  • 2 Eggs

  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup Sugar

  • 2 Sticks unsalted butter

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract

  • 1 cup Dark chocolate chunks

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a medium bowl, cream the eggs, brown sugar, sugar, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. Slowly mix the butter mixture into the flour mixture until combined.

  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chunks and Pepe’s El Original chicharrones.

  6. Use a small ice cream scoop to place small scoops of cookie dough on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place cookies 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
